Elderly & Vunerable Animal Care
As our companions get old, their requirements typically become more complex and regular. We offer our clients and companions the special care and attention as they get older and more vulnerable. We work to ensure regular checkups and consultations, preventative care and ensure a comfortable and loving old age.
Horse Inspection
When inspecting a horse, we create an impression of the horse’s exterior; posture, gaze, behaviour and movement patterns. We study the horse in gait and trot and see how it walks and turns. We feel through the body, bones, tendons and joints, do flexion tests and look for any swelling or sore spots, we examine skin and fur.
During the inspection, we also look in the mouth, see teeth and mucous membranes, eyes and ears and listen to the breathing, both at rest and after exertion. After the inspection, you will receive a veterinary certificate which also serves as a basis for insurance and as a certificate at the sale of the condition of the horse at the time of the inspection.
